Most Popular Members of K-Pop Groups

By Koreaboo

It's hard to deny that there's usually a single member within a group who receives all of the fan and media attention. Join us as we document the shining stars of K-Pop groups.

  • SNSD - Yoona

Yoona was already known prior to her SNSD debut for being a commercial model. With dancing, singing, and even acting under her belt, this quadruple threat regularly tops the popularity polls.

  • MBLAQ - Lee Joon

Having scored some major acting roles, including Hollywood's "Ninja Assassin" with mentor and K-Pop legend Rain, Lee Joon has risen to the top of MBLAQ rankings.

  • EXO - Luhan

This Chinese transplant is probably the most popular member of EXO when factoring in his entire fan-base in Asia. Singing and dancing aside, Luhan's also well known for his boyish good looks.

  • EXO - Baekhyun

Since EXO's got its fair share of popular members, we had to honour Baekhyun as well for his Korean fan-base, where he came out on top compared to the rest of his band mates.

  • BEAST - Lee Ki Kwang

As BEAST's main dancer and lead vocalist, many would agree that Lee Ki Kwang's overwhelming popularity is well warranted.

  • 2PM - Nichkhun

With his infectious smile, ability to speak four languages, and mixed heritage, Nichkhun is certainly the most popular member of 2PM across Asia.

  • Infinite - L

Known as the "visual" of Infinite, even beyond being a vocalist for the group, L is a TV regular and hugely popular with fans.

  • 4minute - Hyuna

Not only is Hyuna popular as a solo artist and as one half of the duo Troublemaker, she's also the member who gets the most attention in 4minute, hands down.

  • Sistar - Hyorin

Hyorin is arguably the face of Sistar and is also recognized by the public as one of K-Pop's best female vocalists.

  • Super Junior - Choi Si Won

Siwon may not be known for his singing or dance talents, but there's no doubt that he's still one of the most coveted men of K-Pop. Good looks aside, Siwon is a regular face in K-Dramas.
