"Final Destination" (2000)
This 2000 horror film spawned an entire franchise with four more "Final Destination" films to follow. Many of the movie's most iconic scenes were shot in British Columbia, including Vancouver Island, Victoria, and Squamish.
"The X-Files" (1993)
"The X Files" has become a cult classic over the years for sci-fi and horror fans alike. With the first five seasons of the series produced and filmed in Vancouver, Squamish has definitely served as a set on more than just a few occasions.
"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" Parts 1 & 2 (2011–2012)
Fans of the "Twilight" franchise may remember the rock climbing scenes from "Breaking Dawn Part 2" or Bella and Edward's wedding ceremony from "Breaking Dawn Part 1". Both of these scenes were filmed in Squamish, in locations like Stawamus Chief Provincial Park.
"Chaos Theory" (2008)
This comedy-drama film stars Vancouver's very own Ryan Reynolds in the role of professional speaker Frank Allen, who specializes in lectures on time management. The film was filmed exclusively in British Columbia, with Vancouver, Squamish, and Coquitlam serving as primary set locations.
"No Clue" (2013)
"No Clue" is perfect for individuals with a particularly dark sense of humour, following an advertising salesman as he takes on the unfamiliar role of a private investigator in an attempt to help Amy Smart's character, Kyra. Various shenanigans ensue, with all of the action filmed in and around Vancouver (Squamish included).
