  • The Galley Patio & Grill

This beachside restaurant makes for perfect outdoor dining, with a magnificent view of city skyline and the water. People watching on this patio means watching windsurfers and sailboats. This is probably one of the best views in Vancouver.

  • Las Margaritas

This Cantina-style spot serves great Mexican food. The beach is right down the street from Las Margaritas — so pop by their beautiful patio for some of the city's best salsa, margaritas and BC's largest selection of tequila.

  • Local

Here's a pretty obvious pick. Pretty much everyone knows the Local. It's always super busy, and you're always pushing to get a seat before it's all taken. The Local gets points for being the “go to” in Kits but loses points for being so damn packed all the time!

  • Hapa Izakaya

Hapa Izakaya has received multiple awards for its Japanese cuisine. Hapa is open from 5:30 p.m. every day and has a delicious menu covering all tastes. Its Kits location features a medium-sized patio great for hang outs and very close to the beach.

  • The Naam

The Naam Restaurant is a great vegetarian-friendly restaurant, which also has a variety of soy-free, gluten-free and sugar-free options. Naam's patio is quietly hidden away from street and traffic noise, and the place is uniquely open 24 hours, seven days a week.

  • The Boathouse

The Boathouse has a tradition of setting up its restaurant locations with a beautiful waterfront view, and this goes for its Kits location as well. You get a beautiful view of the beach and water from a second-floor patio.
