If you have deep blue on one side of you and colorful, thriving reefs on the other, then you might be on an epic wall at one of these spots.

Cayman Islands
The Cayman Islands are a mecca for wall divers thanks to the Cayman Trench. Cayman's underwater cliffs occupy all but the southern shores of the islands. Most divers consider the North Wall to be the best, but the easiest is the current-free West Wall.

Cozumel, Mexico
Cozumel has sites with gradual sloping walls and some with dramatic vertical drop-offs. Underwater currents and choppy surfaces are on again, off again, so be ready just in case. With multiple walls of varying degrees of difficulty, Cozumel has something for everyone.

Palau
Over 350 diverse islands make up the country of Palau. Some have notoriously strong currents, requiring reef hooks, while others are a little less current-swept. Regardless of which you choose, you’ll find more fish than could possibly be listed here, and pelagics to write home about.

British Columbia, Canada
Nudibranchs, wolf eels, and anemones abound in the temperate waters off British Columbia. The sheer walls here are covered with marine life that you won't often find in the Caribbean areas, but they are no less impressive. Hop in at slack tide and go hunting for marine treasures.

Bay Islands, Honduras
Like another on our list, this spot borders on the Cayman Trench. Dives here include massive schools of fish riding the currents, reef tunnels, canopies, and overhangs. Some sites have sloping walls, while others drop directly into the deep, clear blue waters.

Sipadan
This entire volcanic island is a wall dive. Just a bit from the shore, the ocean floor plummets 2000 feet. There are often strong currents, making this a spot unsuitable for beginners. But for those willing to do the Sipadan drift, the delights are never-ending.
