Ultimate guide to Vancouver craft brewery tours
By Vancity Buzz
We love our craft beer in Vancouver, and there’s no better way to taste that local brew than directly from the source.
-
33 Acres
With a clean, modern west coast design the tasting room is simple allowing you to focus on the beer and locally sourced snack menu. Oh, and don’t forget the daily food truck rotations.
-
Bomber Brewing
The staff is super friendly and if it’s not too busy, they are happy to tour you through the back room so you can see how they brew the stuff your drinking.
-
Brassneck Brewery
In addition to the quality beer, they serve a selection of jerky and pepperoni and most evenings have food trucks camped outside so you can bring dinner in with you.
-
Bridge Brewing
Having recently moved locations, [Bridge Brewing](http://bridgebrewing.com/) now has an even bigger tap room to accommodate all the interest in this nano-brewery on the North Shore.
-
Central City Brewing
http://centralcitybrewing.com/
[Central City](http://centralcitybrewing.com/) not only has a dedicated tap room and liquor store but also a massive restaurant attached. Plus it’s close to the SkyTrain, which makes a trip out to the brewery very easy.
-
Deep Cove Brewers and Distillers
Their expansive tasting room frequently hosts events and local musicians and there’s usually a pizzeria food truck parked out front. More than worth the trip.
-
Four Winds Brewing

If you’re really dedicated to craft beer, trekking to Delta to make a stop at [Four Winds ](http://www.fourwindsbrewing.ca/)is a must. The tasting room is small but creative and you’ll be rewarded with some of the best beer in BC.
-
Green Leaf Brewing
An excellent addition to Lonsdale Quay, [Green Leaf Brewing](http://www.greenleafbrew.com/) adds a full tasting room to the already eclectic offerings at the quay.
-
Off The Rail Brewery
One of the newest breweries to enter the scene, [Off the Rail ](http://offtherailbrewing.com/)is incredibly close to Bomber Brewing which makes a two-for-one visit a must.
-
Main Street Brewery
[Main Street](http://mainstreetbeer.ca/) offers a limited dining menu along with their tasting room, and an express growler fill area if you’re just there to pick up.
-
Parallel 49
Arguably one of the first breweries to help popularize craft beer in Vancouver, [Parallel 49](http://parallel49brewing.com/) offers a wide selection of beer at their tasting room.
-
Postmark Brewing
Located in the Settlement building, the expansive space is great for drinks, but if you’re in a rush there’s a walk-up growler window to suit your needs.
-
Powell Street Brewing
Another brewery that has recently moved to fit their rapid expansion, [Powell Street ](http://www.powellbeer.com/)is worth the trip down to sample their unique beer. They weren’t awarded best beer in Canada for nothing!
-
Steel & Oak Brewing
Out in New West, [Steel & Oak](http://steelandoak.ca/) has a great medium sized tap room that seems to be constantly busy. Try the Smoked Heff when they have it in stock.
-
Storm Brewing
The Grandfather of Vancouver craft brewing, [Storm](http://www.stormbrewing.org/) has a tasting room...of sorts. Everything is just a jumble of chaos in Storm which is totally the point. Storm is amazing.
-
Strange Fellows Brewing

Another new addition to the Vancouver brewery scene, [Strange Fellows](http://strangefellowsbrewing.com/) is a unique take on beer. They’ve embraced the weird and the decor reflects it. Sour beer will be their speciality.
