So we reviewed TIDAL's ups and downs at BandMark regarding Branding and UX design, Social sharing, Lossless, Playlists, Library, Compatibility, Playback, Emerging artists and of course subscription.

  • LOSSLESS: Thumbs Down

    Most tracks are only AAC 320

  • SEARCH: Thumbs down

    Not intelligent. 

  • BROWSERS/DEVICES: Thumbs Down

    Still needs work..

  • BRANDING/INTERFACE DESIGN: Thumbs Up

     Probably the best thing they did. 

  • EMERGING ARTISTS: Thumbs down

    Skeptical...

    Works. 

  • PLAYBACK: Thumbs Down

    No Hi5 to this HiFi monthly fee. NOPE.

    Good mix of hits and obscure sounds, but had to dig..
